Downtown Family Home
BUILDER: Franklin Builders
ARCHITECT: SMA Architects
This amazing Bozeman farmhouse was originally constructed in 1889 and had an addition in 1950. It was used as a rental home in the 90s and early 2000s until it was purchased by the tenant in 2004. After years of planning, the home was gutted entirely in 2015 and a new addition was placed on the backside structure.
The new build plays off the original split level layout. While the interior floor plan has an open modern flare, the rough plaster gives a nod to the original farmhouse flavor. The majority of the home is Limestrong "sand" pigmented with a Pratt and Lambert colorant called "balsa." The children’s rooms are pink and blue (their choices I promise) and both showers are tadelakt.
We love doing homes in downtown Bozeman! Enjoy.
